Cindy Sample is the author of Dying for a Dance and Dying for a Date, humorous murder mysteries set in California’s famed Gold Country, Placerville, El Dorado Hills, and Lake Tahoe. She was awarded “Best Fiction 2012” by NCPA for Dying for a Dance, which is also a 2012 Lefty Award Finalist. Margie Yee Webb is the author/photographer of Cat Mulan’s Mindful Musings: Insight and Inspiration for a Wonderful Life, a gift book with humor and wisdom for cat lovers and their finicky friends. She was awarded Certificates of Excellence for “Gift” and “Color Photographs (series)” in the Cat Writers’ Association 2011 Communications Contest; and “Best Nonfiction 2012-Gift” and “Best Book Design 2012, 2nd Place” by NCPA for Cat Mulan’s Mindful Musings.
